York PTA General Meeting Minutes

April 28, 2011

Stacy England called the meeting to order at 6:40pm.

Approval of Minutes

A motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes from the prior General PTA Meeting from February 24, 2011.

New Business

A motion was made and seconded to approve the new NCPTA bi-laws.  This will ensure that York will be in compliance with PTA regulations.

Treasurer Heather Faucette said that the Spring Carnival was a success.  The PTA has $20,000.00 on hand, but would like to start the 2011-2012 school years with money on hand.

The following announcements were made:   rain barrels are still for sale, Teacher Appreciation is next week.  Please remember the teachers.  The luncheon for the teachers will be Wednesday, May 4, 2011. 

Elections were held for the 2011-2012 school year.  The following people will be serving on the Executive Board:
